Local fundraising hero training on Leigh steps prepares to climb Mount Kilimanjaro!

If you’ve ever scaled the steps opposite Leigh-on-sea train station then you know exactly how fit you’d need to be to do several laps three times a week! However, Lee Clark is no stranger to those steps, or the ones by the cliff lift in Southend. For the last few months he’s been climbing them over and over again in training for a monumental fundraising challenge.

Lee is no stranger to fundraising and has become a local star carrying out his infamous sponsored silence for three months each year at Tesco in Southchurch. Luckily, he was much more talkative today when we climbed Leigh Steps together while we talked all about his latest fundraiser.
