As part of their mission to support young musicians, The Song School have launched a brand new monthly open mic event specifically for under 18s on the last Sunday of every month at Twenty One, Southend.

On 20th August, the first of these exciting new events launched and we spoke with two stars of the show, Flo and Finn, shortly after they performed their sets in front of a fun and welcoming crowd.

It was great to hear a little more about their route into music, The Song School and what it was like to perform at the Drop the Mic! event as well as some more information for anyone curious about going along to perform or enjoy the live music next time.
