Ever since they stomped into the streets, The Herd In The City elephants have captured the hearts and imagination of the city but now they’ve gathered together for one final farewell event to raise funds for Havens Hospices.
We caught up with Judy from Havens Hospices to find out a little more about the amazing work they do and some background on how Herd In The City came to Southend.
With the herd assembled for one last farewell weekend at Saxon Hall, Judy explained how you could WIN one of the small elephants and how you can even bid to give a forever home to one of the large elephants.

The elephants will come together on the 23-24 September for a fabulous Farewell Weekend at Saxon Hall. After their summer in Southend-on-Sea, the stunning sculptures will find their forever home at an auction on 26 September and for just £5, you’ll secure your entry to a raffle where you could win your very own baby elephant, Stellarphant, created by Allan Williams, inspired by stars, galaxies and nebula!
