New for 2023 The Essex Small Business Awards rewards incredible local small businesses across the whole of Essex.
Small and micro businesses make up more than 60% of all UK registered businesses and often lead innovation, inspire change, uphold community values and are the pillars of our local towns and cities.
As well as celebrating the achievements and impacts on the community of small businesses, the awards provide an excellent opportunity to network, grow and promote the work and challenges overcome by small business and local entrepreneurs.
We spoke to Laura Steele, founder of The Essex Small Business Awards to find out more about the awards, how and why anyone can nominate a local business and what we can expect from the inaugural awards ceremony.
