This week on our quest to showcase musical talent and the many awesome venues supporting our local community, our Candlelight Acoustic Night Open Mic Tour returned to Westcliff with Southend City Radio LIVE at Isla’s Bar.
Every Sunday night we host an open mic night at a venue near you and record the whole thing… LIVE! As we tour the local area, visiting all the best venues on our way, we bring the magic of live music, captured on our doorstep and broadcast to your radio.
In this stop on the Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour, we witnessed an outstanding vocal duet, a little bit of Ziggy sprinkled with stardust, some spellbinding original music, a fantastic crowd singalong and we kept the tapes rolling for the best drum-a-long you’ve ever heard!

The Candlelight Acoustic Night Open Mic Tour will continue next week with Southend City Radio LIVE in The Ballroom at The Royal Hotel! We’ll be hosting a very special Christmas sing-a-long and we’d love for you to join us at The Royal Hotel, 1 Southend High Street from 7-9pm. Don’t forget your Christmas jumper!
