Local singer songwriter Frankie Peroni can often be found with a guitar in hand and has been a crowd favourite at some of our Southend City Radio LIVE events too.
When Frankie’s not making his own music, he’s listening to somebody else’s music and when he’s not making or listening to music he’s probably talking about music… which is why we’re delighted to welcome Frankie Peroni and his new show (and his music!) to Southend City Radio.
With a tonne of live gigging experience, Lumpy Gravy Records, a growing back catalogue of studio releases and even a TV appearance to his name, Frankie is one of Westcliff’s local stars. In his new show, Peroni’s People, Frankie takes a trip through the lives and minds of some of music’s most engaging artists and fans. You’ll hear exclusive interviews with some of the most talented and diverse people involved in music and the arts.
Hear the first instalment of Peroni’s People below…
In his first show, Frankie interviews Charlie Brookes about her David Bowie Superfan status.
Charlie recalls some incredible memories touring the world to pay homage to her idol along with some funny stories and emotional memories too.
