As part of our ongoing mission to bring the power of radio out of the studio, our open mic tour promises to shine a light on musical talent at every level whilst visiting some of the best venues supporting our local community. Last week we continued our quest with another instalment of Southend City Radio LIVE on our Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour.
In this stop on the Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour, we returned to one of the most iconic buildings in the high street, The Royal Hotel. This time we set up to play beautifully intimate set in the newly refurbished restaurant and it was the perfect backdrop some unforgettable performances. Featuring performers of all ages including a heartwarming return for a local legend and a delightful rendition by the candlelight kids; this week is a mix of covers and some incredible original and unreleased music you’ll only hear on Southend City Radio.
