Everybody hopes they’ll never be needed but a defibrillator can help restart a heart before an ambulance arrives and having one close by could save a life.
Recently, a new defibrillator was installed outside The Exchange Pub in Southchurch and is the first one in the area that will be accessible to the public 24 hours a day.
The device was funded and installed by local residents, Shepherd Neame and Project Southchurch.
We spoke to Rob McAvoy at Project Southchurch to find out all about it.
