In a joint effort involving local residents, Trust Links, South East Essex Organic Gardeners, Project Southchurch, The Local Council and the Mayor of Southend, you’ll notice the beginnings of a brand new apple orchard open to the public and planted by local residents in Bournes Green Park.

We spoke to The Mayor, Trust Links, Project Southchurch, local councillors and local residents as the first trees were planted about the new orchard and what they hope it will bring to the area.
