As part of our ongoing mission to bring the power of radio out of the studio, our open mic tour promises to shine a light on musical talent at every level whilst visiting some of the best venues supporting our local community. Last weekend we continued our quest with another instalment of Southend City Radio LIVE on our Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour.
In this stop on the Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour, we celebrated the birthday of one of our regular rockstars. Saida Bee invited us along to make the Candlelight Acoustic Night part of her birthday fundraiser at The Ironworks in Southend. Featuring both familiar and new faces and a wide range of music from solo singer songwriters to bands to musical opera PLUS an entire African drum circle!

As we tour the local area, visiting all the best venues on our way, we’re excited to bring the magic of live music, captured on our doorstep and broadcast to your radio.
The Candlelight Acoustic Night Tour will continue at Isla’s Bar on 31st March from 7-9pm.
