In its third year, Southchurch Art Trail, was officially opened on Saturday 14th September showcasing the talents of 70+ artists on display in 45+ businesses along Southchurch Road in one of Essex’s largest Art Trails until the 24th September.
To launch this year’s event, the opening ceremony saw artists performing and painting live in the streets of Southchurch as the High Sheriff of Essex cut the ribbon and took in some of the trail too.
After a tour of the trail, we spoke to The High Sheriff of Essex about the Art Trail, what it brings to local businesses and the community plus some of his main objectives in his role as High Sheriff.
