Helen McGhee Shine spoke about her role as a national and regional rep for Surfers Against Sewage as part of last week’s Community Meeting hosted by Project Southchurch at Belle Vue Baptist Church. Outlining some of the upcoming events, projects and goals, Helen also explained more about how you can support Surfers Against Sewage and invited everyone to the next beach clean.
This public meeting was organised by Project Southchurch and is a quarterly platform and a vitally important opportunity for local residents, businesses, organisations and councillors to participate in and lead a discussion on various community projects, issues and plans in the area.
As media partners, we were invited to record the discussion and are proud to facilitate and promote a greater engagement in community issues that effect everyone.
Also speaking at the meeting were representatives from Essex Police, Project Southchurch and City Vision.
