The Fickle Pickle Club is a local gem drenched in musical history. Recorded on the very stage where once stood David Bowie, Status Quo, Thin Lizzy and loads more musical heroes, this special show comes ahead of the Fickle Pickle’s first EVER Battle Of The Bands.
In this special show Stewart Pink joins Liam Pike for a full run-down of all the bands taking part in our first Battle Of The Bands. We get all the details of who plays when, exactly what’s up for grabs for our winners, the all-star judges, how YOU can vote for your favourite local bands, discover your new favourites too and how the whole thing is designed to truly amplify our local music scene.

The Battle Of The Bands takes place at The Fickle Pickle Club in Westcliff EVERY Wednesday from 8pm starting 3rd September, culminating in an epic grand final on 5th November.
Tickets are £6 on the door and you’ll be able to follow all the action here on Southend City Radio too, every Monday from 7pm with exclusive interviews and live recordings from each round!
