New 24 hour defibrillator installed in the heart of Southchurch
Recently, a new defibrillator was installed outside The Exchange Pub in Southchurch and is the first one in the area that will be accessible to the public 24 hours a day. More Local Hairdressers Needed To Support Haircuts 4 Homeless
Since 2014, Haircuts 4 Homeless has provided over 35,000 haircuts to homeless people across the UK. In Southend, free haircuts are available through the charity at HARP’s Bradbury Day Centre but more local hairdressers are needed to keep up with demand. We visited Clifford’s Barber Shop in Southchurch and spoke to Nickiey about why volunteering time for the charity is so important, why more volunteers are needed and how the benefits of having a haircut can have such a huge impact.

222 goal thriller featuring over 100 players in a huge 24 hour football clash sees local sports stars raise big money for local charities
Last week, Garon Park hosted an epic 24 hour football match that saw Adventure Island’s Stockvale United take on The Farke Knight Rises CFC in a 222 goal thriller.
